Nicole earned her Masters in Business Administration degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband and son. Nicole is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Ms. Danielle Wallace serves as principal of Winton Woods Primary South Elementary School. Her career spans over 23 years as a lead teacher, a teacher evaluator, an instructional coach, a curriculum specialist, and now a school leader.

Ms. Wallace earned a B.S. in Montessori Education from Xavier University (1996) and two Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati; Curriculum and Instruction (2002) and Educational Leadership (2014).

She is marching toward her 25th year as an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In her “free” time she enjoys every second of gyrl time she gets with her amazing teenage daughter. This is Ms. Wallace’s first collaboration with the Gyrlfriend Collective but it most certainly won’t be her last.

Tiffani Wills is a leadership authority who has great strength in motivational speaking, building exceptional leaders and empowering others to perform at their highest level. Her leadership strategies reflect the dynamic skills needed for personalized learning by business professionals, as well as educators, to transition from an individual contributor to a collaborative leader and teammate. Tiffani has been effective in contributing to changing the culture of business organizations and schools while reminding others to bring even the most complex challenges back to the basics. 

In 2015, Rustic Urbanlife was founded by Tiffani Wills and one of her dear friends. Rustic Urbanlife’s aim is to remind people to amplify gratitude, to preserve the simplicity of things that work and to focus on bringing people back to the essentials of being (while acknowledging the demands of dynamic and fast-paced environments). Rustic Urbanlife helps individuals and groups to identify what is important in their lives and encourages the simple and basic acts of living. Acts such as learning how to quickly make great food at home and fostering meaningful relationships throughout their community networks. 

Tiffani holds a B.A. in Organizational Communications from Wright State University, an M.Ed. in Montessori Education from Xavier University as well as an MBA from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Tiffani is a mother, an instructional leader, a graduate of the BRIGHT New Leaders for Ohio program, a former NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer standout, a three-year captain and a U.S. Olympic Festival Team alternate. 

Prior to her work as an instructional leader, Tiffani’s leadership experience in the corporate sector spanned over a decade in the adhesives, packaging and supplier diversity industries. Tiffani was the youngest individual and only female in company history to be charged with leading the adhesive division responsible for meeting the needs of four Fortune 100 companies. She was also charged with creating and implementing the company’s first Supplier Diversity Initiative. Tiffani is a two-time recipient of the Captain’s award for Motivating Others to Perform and was also named a YWCA Rising Star. She has a treasured ability to communicate a clear vision of goals in order to implement training and support for professionals to collaborate and serve the needs of their stakeholders. 

Before transitioning into school administration, Tiffani taught first, second and third-grade students at a Title I neighborhood Montessori school in the Cincinnati Public School District. Tiffani currently holds a valid Ohio K-12 Professional Administrators license, a Professional K-3 teaching license with a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement and an American Montessori Society Elementary I (ages 6–9) credential. She is an active member of Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

Tiffani is active in her church, loves creating homemade meals and enjoying the moment! She is also a sports enthusiast! When Tiffani is not watching her daughter play college basketball or watching her son play college football, she is playing soccer herself!

Dr. McKoy received her Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed. S.) in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master’s Degree in Middle Grades Education from Appalachian State University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education with certification in Learning Disabilities from Winston-Salem State University. She has additional areas of certification in Public School Administration/Principalship, Curriculum, and Instruction with a concentration in English, and the NC Superintendency. Her dissertation topic, “A Study of Elementary Principals’ Perceptions of Accountability and Leadership in an Era of High Stakes Testing,” is a foundational part of her first book, “The Heart of School Transformation: My Journey into Transforming Urban Schools.” She attended The Urban Superintendent’s Program at Howard University and The American Association of School Administrators and received the National Superintendent’s Certification.

In addition, she attended Harvard University’s Public Education Leadership Project Program and many other leadership programs throughout the nation, including the Wake Forest University Leadership Program for Public Engagement, The Distinguished Leadership Program and the Distinguished Leadership Program Digital Learning at North Carolina State University, The Principals’ Executive Program – Leadership Program for Assistant Principals at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received the Program’s Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and she graduated from the Principals’ Executive Program – Leadership Program for New Principals at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received the prestigious Jack McCall Award. Dr. McKoy also attended the Mastering Leadership Dynamics Program with the BB&T Institute, as well as three other programs at BB&T. In addition, she was accepted into The National Scholars Honor Society.  A highlight of her career is that in 2017, she was selected by Winston Salem State University as the Education Alumni Achiever Recipient. 

Dr. McKoy began her teaching career at an alternative middle school and later taught at another middle school. She has served as assistant principal at the elementary level before becoming the principal of two elementary schools. She worked as an instructor at the Math and Science Academy of Excellence at Winston-Salem State University and worked as an Adjunct Professor at NC A&T State University and ITT Technical Institute. Furthermore, she served as an Executive Director/Principal of a middle school. Her experience spans from pre-K through college and she uses her experience and knowledge to continue to make an impact in the field of education! Dr. McKoy was nominated for the AASA Women in School Leadership Award with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In addition, she received the Educator of the Year Award and The Executive Citation of Anne Arundel County Maryland Award. Dr. McKoy has been featured in K.I.S.H., BSM, and UP WORDS (Edutopia) magazines. She has received many accolades and recognition for her accomplishments throughout the span of her career.

She is known as a transformational leader and has improved the academic performance and success indicators of all the schools she has led. She is most proud of the fact that both elementary schools became Piedmont Triad Signature Schools! Her mission is to continue to ignite a passion in others and to make a profound impact in the field of education to help at-promise students believe and change the trajectory of their futures!

She started her own Educational Consulting Business, Dr. Essie Speaks, travels the nation to do speaking engagements, and published her first book about school transformation in 2018. Currently, she is writing more books and completing several co-authoring book collaboration projects. In addition, she is the Senior Executive Director of the DMV Mastermind Organization and serves as a faculty member at George Mason University! Furthermore, you will see Dr. McKoy once a month co-hosting about educational topics with Dr. Sharon Porter on the, “I Am Dr. Sharon Show.” The segment is entitled, “Education First.”

Dr. Melissa Chester is a part of that small group of thoughtful people, committed to serving and impacting the lives of those in our community. Dr. Melissa Noland Chester is a former professor who taught on the collegiate level for approximately fifteen years and is a two-time best-selling author. She is committed to serving and impacting the lives of others by improving the situations of others through consulting facilitation, and motivational speaking. Her dedication and passion to assist individuals and organizations are evident in the many seminars, workshops, and programs she has participated in and implemented with local, regional, and national nonprofit organizations, and businesses.

Dr. Melissa Chester is the Co-Founder and CEO of Black Educators Rock, Inc., a national nonprofit which boasts over 155,000 minority educators its Facebook group. BER, Inc.’s goal is to further the academic success of our nation’s minority students by closing the “attitude gap” that exists among educators and students. It accomplishes this goal through its local chapters, partnerships, and collaborations with other local, regional, and national nonprofits and their flagship event, the ROCK Conference. The ROCK Conference is a summer professional development conference and hosts the top educational consultants and educators in the country. BER, Inc. Dr. Chester also runs the Black Educators Rock Network and its three Internet and talk radio stations, Enlighten Media, Elevate Media, and EmpoWEr Media. BER, Inc. is also in the process of creating BER Publishing, a platform to create educational materials that correctly reflects today’s society.

Dr. Chester attained her B.S. & Master’s degrees from Florida A&M University and her Ph.D. from Florida State University. She has taught at several universities, including Florida A&M University, Florida State University, Grambling State University, University of North Florida, and online at Southern New Hampshire University. While residing in Tallahassee, she was very active in the community. Some of her community outreach includes co-creating the grassroots program Positive Proof Mentoring at Raa Middle School, serving as an event coordinator for the 1000 Men Rally, and working with the City of Tallahassee Parks & Recreation to create and present numerous programs, seminars, and workshops. Her volunteerism also includes The Black History Program at Dade Street Community Center (planning committee), The March on Wellness and Obesity Health Seminar (planning committee), Youth Teen Summit (presenter), Youth Talent Show (planning committee), and mentoring and tutoring preteen and teenage and college young ladies.

Dr. Chester currently resides in Jacksonville and is actively involved with many organizations and her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dr. Chester is a board member of the nonprofit, The Center, One Foundation, a member of the Jacksonville Public Education Fund’s (JPEF) Community Advisory Team (CAT), Urban Education Symposium (UES) steering committee, and is a certified instructor for the national initiative known as Adult Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA). She has also served as the Assistant Program Manager for the Mayor’s Summer Jobs Program (a program that employed hundreds of youth), served on the planning committee for Operation Save Our Sons (a nonprofit for at-risk males), and assisted former Jacksonville Jaguar Donovin Darrius create and run his non-profit organization from 2011 to 2017. She has also presented at many conferences, seminars, and workshops at numerous universities, businesses, nonprofit organizations, K-12 schools, including but not limited to Character Development, Increasing Self-Esteem, Mental Health Awareness, Personality Assessment, Communication & Conflict Resolution, Health and Physical Fitness, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and High school graduation/college preparation. Dr. Chester is married with two sons and is currently a broker and the Director of Training and Education at Premier Coast Realty, LLC and the Lead Instructor at Premier Coast Real Estate School, LLC.

Tywauna Wilson is a best-selling author, entrepreneur, and an award-winning leadership maven helping movers and shakers shift to the next level. She is the Owner/Chief Leadership Consultant of Trendy Elite Coaching and Consulting Services which she founded in 2017. Trendy Elite focuses on transformational change by equipping leaders with the tools and expertise needed to be successful influencers who inspire personal growth and leadership in the workplace and in their local communities.
