Seant’a Conyers-Woods is an Author, Publisher, Inspirational, and Motivational Speaker. She was born and raised in a small town in Indiana called Kokomo. Seant’a is the CEO and founder of Single Heart’s Helping One LLC. It is a non-profit business designed to help single women with children. The vision for this program is not to judge single women with children, but to allow them the opportunity to get their lives together, so they can live a happy and prosperous life with their children. It provides services and programs to help them become better parents, learn money management, and become successful independent women. The program is designed for single mothers only, who are having trouble raising their children due to financial troubles, lack of support, and knowledge.

She is the author and publisher of “BEING PRETTY IS HARD WORK!” Broken Psalms 51:17. Her book is a non-fiction book, based off a true story about her life. Seant’a began writing her book in 2015, after being broken and living a shameful life from all the hurts, pains, and bad life experiences. The purpose of her book is to help people understand the importance of self-love. She wants to inspire the women in the world, who live life every day broken. Today, Seant’a is living her life unbroken, and filled with Love. She is living and walking in the Purpose God has for her life.

Essynce Moore started releasing the Middle School Chronicles series in 2015 with the aim to help prepare younger students for middle school and how to deal with bullying, self-esteem, and dream-chasing.

She started designing clothes at the tender age of 6 with just for fun doodles in her school binder and notepads. Her passion was and still is, to find her own style and to share her creative UPSCALE clothing ideas and styles with youth around the world.

Talitha Simeona-Stewart | Emerald’s Eyes

The Write the Book Now guest, Thursday, February 1, 2018, is Talitha Simeona-Stewart.

As the sixth child of seven, Talitha was born in a poor and crowded home. Always trying to escape from the chaos, she retreated to imaginary worlds through old black and white movies and books.

Growing up, she thought she would be creating designs for the runways of Paris, Milan and New York. Her fashion dream was not realized because, at the age of  16, she became the mother of a beautiful daughter, Phonjuli Chanel.

Working as a volunteer for the local health clinic, she was introduced to young women with traumatic lives. She didn’t think her life’s work would be helping others. After graduating high school, she eventually began working as a community service assistant at a young adolescent pregnancy program clinic and school-based clinic in a high school; Her passion for helping grew. It was there she was able to work with teenage mothers who shared similar struggles.

While she has one of the best mothers in the world, college was never something talked about in her home. However working with professionals and educators, she knew she wanted more for my daughter and herself. Her five-year goal was to complete her education.

She attended Hofstra University while working full-time and received her bachelor’s in Psychology and Masters in Education in seven years.

After relocating from Long Island to Maryland, she became an educator for Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland.

Educating and helping others has been a fulfilling part of her life along with her husband, Ernest, her children, grandchildren and her church.
